I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We went to a friend's house and ate TOO much food of course. I made sweet potato casserole for the first time (the one with marshmallows on top) and it was delicious!!
The most exciting part was all the regular food Lily ate! She had mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, turkey, green beans, and bread. By the end of the night, she was in as much of a food coma as we were.
Tonight at dinner we gave her some french fries and some macaroni and cheese. It is so much easier to just feed her what we're eating instead of having to do the whole baby food thing. Plus, baby food is way too runny and using oatmeal doesn't do her tummy well.
We just got back a little while ago from doing a little Black Friday shopping. We didn't do anything too crazy and didn't leave the house until 1 and we STILL didn't beat the crowds.
I am excited to put up all our Christmas decorations tomorrow and then post pictures for everyone to see. I have been listening to Christmas music all day. I love this time of year!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed good food and good company. Now it's the countdown to Christmas!
