It's been a while

It's hard to believe that our little girl is now 6 months old!! Crazy how the time is flying! She is now sitting up almost unassisted. She still falls over sometimes if she leans to far to the side. She is also scooting ALL over the place! Not quite crawling but man, does she have the army crawl down and she will get where she wants to go!!

She had a doctor's appointment last Monday and weight 14 lbs 11 oz and was 26 inches tall. The appointment was pretty disappointing since she is not gaining weight like they want her too. The doctors weren't concerned but just didn't want her to continue to decline. We had already been feeding her baby food once a night so she is now getting it 3x a day. Hopefully that will help her gain a little weight!

Besides that, things have just been crazy busy with the school year. I was moved to 2nd grade a week before Open House at the beginning of the year. Then less than 10 days into the school year, the Kindergarten numbers went back up so I moved BACK to Kindergarten. I am happy to be back and am having an awesome year so far.

John hasn't been too busy at work lately which has been really nice. We have been so spoiled this year! Things will start to pick up soon though. He leaves the beginning of December on a week long trip. Then when the new year comes, he will be gone a lot.

We will be travelling home to Iowa for Christmas so I am very excited about that! Speaking of Christmas, I can't wait to put up our Christmas decorations on Friday!!! :-)
