The Beginning

Well, for the 4th, 5th, or is it 6th time, I'm going to try to keep up with a blog. We'll see how it goes this time! Things have really changed since the last time I blogged.

May 10, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Lillian Marie, into the world and since then, things have been a little crazy!! A good crazy though. Lily amazes us everyday and we fall more in love with her with every passing hour.

She smiles whenever he sees mommy or daddy and she loves to talk to us. She will have little conversations with us and coo and giggle. We tell ourselves that she's a lot smarter than we know!

The boys are doing wonderfully with her. Rusty loves to check her out and sniff her. He is also very concerned if she's crying and John or I don't soothe her fast enough. Indy will check her out every once in a while but for the most part, keeps his distance. She has swatted and kicked them quite a few times and they don't even flinch so hopefully that's good news for when she becomes mobile!

For now, I will sign off of my first blog entry with a picture of our little girl. Hopefully there will be more in the future if I can remember! :-)
